I am constantly in search of a nice quality lower priced wooden puzzle. The cost of these things can be prohibitive so whenever I feel like I can save a bit, I am all in for trying.
I have mixed reviews for this Hong Kong company:
My first problem was getting the pieces out of the box. The lid was so on so tightly that I thought I would have to cut it open. It was quite the struggle. There was no tissue paper inside and no reference picture other than box lid and a very small card.
Then when I saw how small the pieces were with tiny delicate connectors, I almost gave up before I started. I am glad I persevered because I ended up enjoying it much more than other small cuts I’ve tried. I think because of the colors and the varied styles of the connectors, the build went fairly well. I got a nice brain work-out without becoming frustrated or stymied. And I love the original artwork!
That being said, I would not recommend this to those with more significant cognitive, vision or arthritic conditions.
At $75.00 this was still rather expensive for the quality involved-the cuts are so delicate that I can’t imagine them lasting through multiple uses.
Cognitive: mild
Vision: mild
Mobility: Very mild (pieces are small and hard to manipulate)
